Color codes

The colors used in VMD images are as follows:

The substrate molecules were drawn using standard structure colors: magenta for alpha helix, yellow for beta strand and white for coil regions.

During image creation we colored the N terminus with blue, and the C terminus with red. All other amino acids are yellow except the amino acid residues used by the transglutaminases, which are green.

On video images the substrate glutamine residues are orange, the other ones are yellow and the substrate lysine residues are green and the other ones are blue.
